Don’t forget to comment and/or follow for a chance to win a signed copy of the poster for the film adaptation of Brian Selznick’s book The Invention of Hugo Cabret. The movie is coming out November 23rd and is directed by Martin Scorsese. If you have not read Hugo, you should. It’s quite wonderful. An illustrator first, Selznick brings to life such a magical, adventurous story with compelling and heartfelt artwork. It’s a great story both kids and adults can love. Contest ends Monday at midnight (PST).
Also, don’t forget to pick up a copy of Brian Selznick’s new book Wonderstruck. I recently read this, and enjoyed it thoroughly! Review forthcoming.
Happy reading.

Thanks, Robyn!!
We went to the author talk and book signing — he was a wonderful speaker, and it was really enjoyable! I have a photo of our 9-year-old with him, with this big happy smile on her face after he autographed her book report on _Wonderstruck_, told her that he thought it was the first book report on the book, and gave her an A+. ð
I am so glad you enjoyed it! I thought it was a pretty fantastic talk as well. ð
Hi JD, just clicked your site – really nice articles.
I liked the book and are looking forward to seeing the movie.
If the poster is still available, it’d be a perfect surprise for a friend of mine.
Great articles, keep them coming!
